Abstract

Erythroblastosis fetalis resulting from anti-M antibody seems to be an extremly rare phenomenon. Generally, anti-M is regarded as a naturally occurring cold agglutinin. However, there have been several reports of the presence of anti-M, which was
of IgG
class and caused incompatibility between mother and child. Cases of neonatal anemia and intrauterine death have also been reported.
We have experienced a case of anti-M antibody as a cause of intrauteirne death and reported that with a brief review of related literatures
